Residence permit
●Apply for the residence permit of one year
Foreign staffs employed by the three kinds of foreign-invested ventures, domestic enterprises, state-owned enterprises, representative institutions in Beijing, foreign experts employed in Beijing, foreign reporters of the reporter offices in Beijing and their mates, parents and minor children should have “Z” visa, foreign students should have “X” visa, all of the person mentioned above should apply for residence permit form the Migration Offices of Beijing Public Security Bureau in 30days after immigration.
1、Valid passport and visa
2、Residence certificate
3、Visa and Residence Permit Application Form (provided by BJFISC) filled completely and correctly, stamped with the seal of employer and pasted with a recent photograph.
4、If it is the first time for the foreigner, 18 years or older, to apply for residence permit, the original health certificate should be provided.
5、Employment certificate or official letter of the employer should be provided for the family, besides that marriage certificate is required for the mate and the certificate of family relationship is required for the parents or child.
6、The originals and photocopies of Employment Permit of Aliens issued by Beijing Labor and Social Security Bureau or Foreign Experts Certificate issued by State Foreign Expert Bureau or Beijing Foreign Affairs Office are required for the foreign staffs employed by the three kinds of foreign-invested ventures, domestic enterprises, state-owned enterprises, representative institutions in Beijing and the foreign experts employed in Beijing.
7、Originals and photocopies of the inspected business license of three kinds of foreign-invested ventures, domestic enterprises and state-owned enterprises are required.
8、Foreign reporters of the reporter offices in Beijing should provide Reporter Certificate.
9、Foreign students should provide the office letter marked with study term and acceptance letter issued by the colleges attended. Foreign students with L, F visas should provide JW201 form and JW202 form. Foreign students without ordinary passport should apply for it and provide the certificate for relinquishing diplomatic privileges and immunities.
●Apply for the residence permit of one year
Foreign staffs or high talents employed by the three kinds of foreign-invested ventures, domestic enterprises, state-owned enterprises, investors or returned students with foreign nationality and their mates, parents and minor children can apply for perennial residence permit. Some questions must be answered and the following documents should be provided.
1、Valid passport and visa
2、Residence certificate
3、Visa and Residence Permit Application Form (provided by BJFISC) filled completely and correctly, stamped with the seal of employer and pasted with a recent photograph.
4、If it is the first time for the foreigner, 18 years or older, to apply for residence permit, the original health certificate should be provided.

7、Original and photocopy of Beijing residence permit for the overseas, the office letter of department of international exchanges and cooperation of ministry of education or the office letter of department of professional management of ministry of personnel should be provided by the returned students with foreign nationality employed in Beijing.
8、Originals and photocopies of the copy of the inspected business license of three kinds of foreign invested ventures, domestic enterprises and state-owned enterprises should be provide by the foreign staff, returned students and investors.
9、Original and photocopy of the approval certificate issued by the enterprise are required for investor or some people with “L” (sightseeing or visiting their relations) or “F” visa to apply for residence permit, such as corporate representative, foreign high manager (include foreign director, general manager, vice- general manager), professionals (include foreign chief accountant, chief economist, chief engineer, engineers and technicians ).
10、The office letter of first grade authorized unit should also be provided by high talent.
